Award from ÇEİS Structure Design Competition

In the ÇEİS Building Design Competition, our students, Kıvılcım Yavuz, Furkan Özata, Furkan Şahin and Aleyna Koyuncu’s project titled AGREGARCH were awarded with an equivalent mention. You can find the content of the project below:

AGREGARCH Cyclical Power of Time – Project description: “Conventional building techniques developing in today’s world create clear freedom in the implementation of concrete or cement day by day. Conditions such as the application of architectural and structural techniques without thinking, the neglect of temporal and spatial changes, as well as the different needs of the primary users in the circular economy, lead to misuse of useful and valuable building material such as concrete. The design idea of the project is taking shape at this point. The project was founded on designing a pavilion that can keep pace with the memory of the rapidly changing and developing cities and the future of the cities, with different formal options that are suitable for the principles of temporal and spatial transformation, with different functional options and a modular system. Unlike conventional structures, the designed module can work as a space where all its surfaces can be used functionally, unlike a system that works just like a top cover. Sometimes it is an element that can be sat down on it, and sometimes it can be transformed into an upper cover and define a space underneath it. Moreover, in each alternative, form and spatial usage can be easily changed accordingly.” We congratulate our students and wish them continued success… For more #YaşarArchitecture news: arch.yasar.edu.tr/en/
