Part-time Project Assistant for a Research Project (BAP) – open position

We are looking for a YU undergraduate student who would like to join an ongoing research as a part-time project assistant. Your main task will be working with two 3D printers to produce scale-down building components. This task includes preparing the 3D print files from Rhinoceros/Grasshopper models and controlling the 3D printing process.
This position is available for 6 – 10 months.

Our requirements are:
– A responsible, proactive and self-motivated student
– Available 5 – 10 hours/week to work in this project
– Basic knowledge about 3D printing or strong willingness to learn about it

Knowledge in Rhinoceros / Grasshopper is an advantage.

We offer:
– Become a team member of an innovative research project in the interface of architectural design and topology optimization techniques;
– A monthly payment of 1,200 TL (minus taxes, according to YU rules)
